Scheel, Henrietta (Marriage - 27 Aug. 1936)
A very pretty wedding was solemnized at St. Mary’s Catholic church this Thursday morning, August 27th at 8:00 A.M., Rev. L. J. Lang officiating, when Miss Henrietta Scheel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Scheel of Loyal, became the bride of Mr. Jerome Van Dreel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Van Dreel of Colby. Inez Hardrath of Owen, the bride’s niece, acted as maid of honor and Miss Verena Van Dreel, the groom’s sister, was bridesmaid. The groom was attended by his cousin, Cletus Schraufnagel, and the bride’s brother, Lawrence Scheel.
The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of white satin and lace and her bouquet consisted of white roses, swansonia and baby breath. The maid of honor wore a dress of floor length peach mousoline de soie and her wrist corsage consisted of roses, snapdragons and baby breath. The bridesmaid wore a floor length dress of green crepe and her wrist corsage also consisted of roses, snapdragons and baby breath.
The young people will be at home after August 21st at Leona, Wis., where the groom is employed.
